Cleaning the white brick external walls

With the cleaning of the external brickwork all work in phase one is now complete. As predicted the yellow bricks of the church glow.

Before bricks cleaned and clock restored

After: 30 September 2005

The church is built largely with white Suffolk Brick. The building now appears a yellow/cream colour as it was when first opened 175 years ago. The cleaning will make a lasting contribution to the conservation of the historic environment of Tottenham Green, the heart of the old Tottenham Borough.

The Clock has been restored thanks to donations from David Knightly Charitable Trust, Pride of Place Award and Haringey Neighbourhood Renewal Community Chest.
